The power draw is only slightly higher, they are properly aimed so I don't blind on-coming traffic, and they look and work great! I guess I should also point out that I drive a Cougar. This sounds like a good idea and must give off substantially more light. If this is the case why are these bulbs not made for this purpose in the first place? I had 2 major worries before doing this: 1) Power. I was worried about the wiring. Then I realized that these bulbs only draw 60W compared to 50W for the 9006. 2) On-coming traffic. I was worried that I would blind everyone. Well, I adjusted my lights, and they're set perfectly. Not a single flash from an on-coming driver. I figured for $20, it was worth a shot.
