we just got the tranny out and it is the spider gears. one of the teeth were chipped and it caused all 4 spider or differential gears to strip. i am kinda happy now that i know what the problem is. so now can someone post the pic that i saw about a month ago that had all the gears so that i can get hold of terry and order these gears.

Yeah, that's what happened to mine too at 110k miles. I had a tranny shop replace it for me. Cost me $2,000 total including a new clutch. Very painful, but its fixed.

Don't put a stock diff back in it. Do yourself a huge favor and order up a quaife or torsen diff to put in the trans.

To have a stronger not to mention a LSD (Limited Slip Diff) = better traction , less torque steer....
