I just had an interesting thought - I wonder what gains there would be from machining the lower intake manifold to be shorter.
Shorter runners = a higher resonant frequency and should result in increased top-end at the expense of low-end. Could be an interesting mod for someone looking for those "last few horsepower"
Anyone have one on hand to see just how much material could be cut down?
