Hey.
I'm looking for new tires for my Sport and was wondering what you guys/gals think.
I would ideally like to upgrade to a bigger wheel/tire combo, but that option is not in the wallet right now. I was thinking of either putting 215/55/15's or 215/60/15's. I would like an all-season tire.
Thanks.

I have gone through 2 sets of Goodyear Eagle GT-4's. Last year I put a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE-930i on from Costco. Very happy with the performance. They come with 70k warranty as well as free rotation every 10k and free puncture repair. Total installed cost was about $500, and that included balancing.

Go for the 215/55/15 instead of the 215/60/15, they have lower sidewalls and they are the direct replacement size for our stock 205/60/15. I have 225/50/15 and I love them.

Where the heck are you guys getting sweet deals on tires( other than Costco)? I just got quoted $770 (installed, balanced, valves, taxes in) for a set of V rated Comp T/A's in 215/50/16. $720 for the H rated version.

The prices seem to be in line with what I've found on the net at www.1010tires.com in BC.

Hey Guys...

I'm going to be buying new tires as well. I have 205/60/15s on the car right now. Thinking of going for the more agressive 215/60/15s. Ride and handling good on those? No wheel well rubbing?

Thanks for all the imput. I'm thinking that I'll go for the 215/60/15's.
But the other, more expensive, way to go is to just buy new rims and tires. I just need to find some. I'll just have to see.

Thanks.
