Hey whats, up I am new in the forum, but I am needing some help. I am putting a quaife in the tranny in the next couple of weeks, but I was also wanting to replace the third gear synchros. Today I went into the Ford parts department (O Yeah I also work at Ford), and they told me the part is obsolete. Meaning that the part can't be found anywhere. I know someone has to have some ideas of where to find this part or something. Come on help a brotha out! I am not trying to buy a new tranny especially when I just saw a tranny rebuit about 4 months ago. I hear there is a couple of places u can get upgraded trannys though like from Haines Motorsports and Level 10. Well anyway that is all I have to say.

Whatever.

Give Bill Jenkins a call. He'll set you up with a discount price and if he can't get it, no one can.

I doubt it's obsolite. It's probably just been superceeded by another part, (maybe because the old syncros were so crappy).

Whats someone suppost to do if one of the syncros goes, by a new tranny!

There has to be a replacement part.
