I noticed a coolant leak on my car today. I looked around with a flashlight and it looks like it's coming from the bottom of the radiator somewhere. [It was dusk, so I didn't have time, or enough light, to pull any covers, shrouds, etc.]

I looked at the hoses coming and going to the radiator...all looked fine. There are a couple of drips on the bottom of the flap that runs almost the width of the car right under the radiator.

Is the radiator a pain in the neck to pull? Both my Haynes manual and my factory manual say that it needs to be removed from underneath the car. If I put it on ramps, will I have enough clearance. This is assuming that I will need to remove the radiator. wink

Once I pull off the 'shroud' under the radiator, maybe it will be something easy.

Can anybody offer me some advice?

Thanks.

Mike

Remove the belly pan first and check for hose leaks before you commint to pulling the rad.Yes it only comes out from the bottom and you will need to detach the a/c condenser from it before you drop it....
