i posted about this a while back but maybe some different people will see. Can i put a 00 SVT engine in my 98 SVT. someone said something about changing the fuel rails or something. how do i know if i have returnless or not. and also is this hard to do. also will the clutch and tranny and everything fit right in place.

FIRST OF ALL THE 00 MOTOR WILL FIT IN A 98, BUT IN 98 THEY HAD RETURN FUEL SYSTEMS, IN 00 THEY SWITCHED TO RETURNLESS. IF YOU GET AN OO' MOTOR THEN FUEL RAILS WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH IT FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND. TRANNY AND SUCH ARE THE SAME.

well see i am buying the engine from someone and i dont know if they have the fuel rails. guess i will have to ask. what is the ups or downs for this returnless fuel. i dont understand

You will have to swap the Lower Intake Manifold from your 98 engine to the 00 engine,
so the fuel system matches your car.
