We've been given the go-ahead to leave whenever, but I'm one of those New Englanders that is going to be toughing it out.
Probably will stick around for another hour or so. Since I'm paid hourly, I'm only paid for the time I'm here.
Looking pretty nasty out, and they declared a snow emergency in Boston at 9AM, so parking should be fun!

I got to bust out at 1pm. Had Sues Gallant today, man does that thing like the snow. The SVT would have been on the side of the road pulling out of the parking garage at work, but the Gallant just gobbles snow!!

damn these roads suck. took me about 2 hours to get home. i get home and made two passes with the snowblower when a buddy of mine pulls up honking the horn! i moved out of the way and he went at it!  He said he'll be back at around 7...but then that's it. I guess I will have to get out of the snow myself tomorrow morning!  lol  their is already 9 inches on the ground.....and that was about 30 minutes ago

I heard that it's supposed to snow at least an inch per hour over night tonight! YIKES!!!!!!!!!

Took me just over an hour today! Not too bad, only about 20 mins longer than normal. Rte101 was pretty clear most of the way home. I decided to stay away from my normal, back-woods, way home!

We were supposed to be let out at noon today, but our wonderful "Captain A**hole" AKA our Regional Director decided that HE was the foremost meterologist in the region and decreed that the snow was almost over  !! (I'm NOT making this up!!) Further, he demanded that EVERYONE report to work tomorrow at 6 AM instead of 8 AM to help clear snow, move patients, etc. because "there are staff here who are going to use this snowfall to avoid coming in to work". I said a hearty "Screw You" and left without anyone's permission and just BARELY made it home!! My car was a snowplow coming down my street for God's sake!! And I'm upset that my last day there is Friday because???
