I know ths is probably the wrong place to post this on but I this is the video and pics section..I just downloaded a video off of kazza and it states that it is a Divx5pro and was wondering if there was a secret on how to view it or download it to a cd to view on a dvd???? All i can hear is the dialogue...just people talking and not video??? I thought you fellow cegr's would know how to since I have seen this topic before on divx..please help ..I am new at this ....dont kill me on this and apoligize if the wrong forum

Go to www.divx.com and download the standard DivX package. The file you're playing needs a codec, which is something used to decode the audio/video of the file.

thanks jigga I see you post on here all of the time and now I just got cable and will post some pics of my car pretty soon..is there a way yo download on dvd? run me through if you dont mind..that was quick by the way,,,thanks

Thanks t red ..i new cable was awesome but I am used to dial up ..this great..now all i need is some help with hosting on some pics so I can show everyone my ride later on in the very near future

Sup, yup, Divx is a codec you need to view the divx files w/ to watch it on ur puter. BUT if u want to watch it on a dvd player, use Nero and choose Video-CD. (ur dvd player must be VCD compatible) AVI's are compressed Mpegs, mpegs are the type of format that u can watch on dvd players....but nero will usually convert the AVI(Divx file) to a VCD(Video-CD[mpeg format]) to watch on ur dvd player.
