Just remove the serp belt and try it. If it starts, shut it off and try turning each pulley with the belt off.

Forgive me, but this sounds a lot like the engine is seized.
If you pop the clutch while rolling, the front wheels should NOT lock up.
If they do, then chances are the engine is locked up or seized.

Did you check if there was any oil on the dipstick ?

What type of weather are you having? My car would not start a few weeks ago(probably do to cold, acted like it wanted to, but wouldn't). Bought some starting fluid and sprayed it into the TB. Actually my little brother sprayed it in there while holding throttle open while I tried to start it. Probably not the best thing to do but it worked.

Weather has been nice here in the mid 60's. As for the car engine being seized, I assumed from what someone posted that if the a/c pulley clutch has given up that would make it so the belt would not spin fast enough. Which in turns makes the car sound like the battery is dead? I have ruled out a timing chain but it could be. Anything else?

Has anyone mentioned your alternator? or taking a closer look at the plugs you replaced?

A frozen or seized belt can definitely cause those symptoms. If any of the pulleys or bearings have locked up, this can lock the engine, which would keep the battery from turning the engine, and also lock the wheels when the car is pushed or pulled. I saw an identical thing happen to a Chevy Pickup a couple of years ago. The wheels were locked and the motor would not budge. The problem was a frozen bearing that locked the serpentine belt.

I have the same year vehicle with the same engine. My car was exibiting the same issue. It would turn over a few times, then stop. Like the battery was dead. After much diagnostic, problem turned out to be the fuel injector. It went bad, stuck open, and filled the cylinder with gas. As everyone knows, you can't compress a liquid that much. Pulled spark plugs, turned over engine to expel fuel in cylinder, replaced plugs, oil change since fuel bypassed rings and got into crankcase, replaced bad injector.....Starts and runs like a champ. May not be your issue, but the symptoms sound the same.

Mine would turn over about four times, then stop. It would then refuse to turn over. If I let it sit for a few hours (during which time the fuel would leak out of the cylinder and into the crankcase) it would turn over a few times till the cylinder filled up again.

Check you oil and see if you smell gas. Pull your spark plugs and see if one of them is real wet. That will be your culprit.

Good luck.

Check you oil level, if you don't have oil then you might have a seized motor.
