I got my car for wholesale because the slave cylinder and clutch needed to be replaced. Once I had a hybrid clutch and a SHO Shop flywheel (I'll use any excuse to upgrade) popped in by a local shop (
) I found my 2nd gear syncro was pretty much toast and the third gear syncro is on it's way out.
As Terry recommended, I am going with a +2000 model MTX75, quaife, and a zetec fd (3L soon).
Like many have said OH SO MANY TIMES BEFORE ME.....ford does not do anything unless they have to! SO IMO, the internal changes that took place in 2000 on the MTX75 was totally necessary!
(side thought: To think that I was about to get a FSVT, but didn't because of the lack of factory incentives at the time.
I'm SO glad I got my CSVT instead!!!!
