I have 2 LE PB 12s on order, and I just received the wiring kit from KnuKonceptz, but I'm still deciding on an amp. The Profile CL600M caught my eye with it's high power (450w @ 2ohm), high signal-to-noise ratio (105 dB), and low price ($110 on ebay). Plus the THD of .07% is acceptable. What am I missing? The spec sheet makes it seem like a better amp than the jbl 600.1 that everyone seems to like here. A search turned up few "profile" references. Thanks.

I've used a few Profile amps. They were not very impressive. Unless they've had a complete U-turn in their ratings, I wouldn't trust 450w.

I'm not saying they're bad tho. I haven't used anything from their Clarus line. They might be the next great bargain mono sub amp. However, the JBL is a reliable, proven performer that makes its 600w @2ohm and then some.

Have fun with your LE12's. You'll be very happy with them.

Obiviously cost is an issue.

I went with one of these Bazooka EL 1500 that I got for really cheap off Ebay from http://www.returnbuy.com

I haven't got my box yet for my LE but am expecting good results.

I would get that Bazooka amp before the Profile. More power, cheaper, and a better amp.

Thanks for the tip. Got one tonight for $80 + shipping. I'd give you 5 stars but I guess we don't do that anymore.

I paid a little extra at returnbuy.com for one that was in good condition (all manuals, no scratches, etc). Way cheaper than $250 at Crutchfield. Still a great deal anyway you look at it.
