ive just got a few quick questions for all the splitter owners out there....first, how much paint did it take to paint the splitter? does a pint cover it? oh yeah, on a side note, i went to a few places today trying to find some paint, and every where i went, a little pint of paint cost around 70-75 dollars....that seems steep to me, but i guess paint isnt cheap. the other question i have is....should i go ahead and install it before the splitter gets painted to go ahead and get the holes drilled, and see if it is going to fit right? thanks for all your help and advice, you guys are always a great help....

Well on the cost of a pint I don't know how much but I got mine painted at a shop for $150. Then I put it on after the paint job and worked out just fine. Since then I have had to take it off because it was way to low with the BAT Handling Kit . But boy did it look bad ass.

thats the right price. t-red paint costs $80 a pint for me. first time it cost me $80 a quart, but i think the paint shop messed something up! anyways, i would paint it off the car, since thats what the shop is gonna have u do anyway. it should bolt up just fine. just hold it to the fascia and see how it looks. mine flared out a little more on the drivers side so the flush mount screws had to be put in. im sure yours will be the same. as far as installation its quite simple. just attach the 3 aluminum brackets to the splash shield and to the bottom of the splitter. some drilling will be required for that. after that, drill some holes into each side of the fascia and put in the flush mount screws and voila, admire your fresh looking svt!

oh and by the way one pint of paint should be more than enough to paint it once you mix the reducer and hardener into it you almost get a full pint more. be thank full your car is not painted house of kolor i wish i could pay 70 - 75 dollers ....but no i have to pay about $650.00 a pint . you would almost think its made of gold or somthing
