I've been running Plat +4s, with 9mm Ford MotorSport wires in my Contour for 30,000 miles and they are fine. Not everyone has this problem.

Well I just got back from my post Autolite double platinum swap test drive, and the difference is like night and day! I really wished I would have actually did some research before I waisted my time putting those Bosch plugs in just to take them right back out.

You aren't supposed to use platinum plugs for nitrous. NX told me that they will cause backfires. NGK irridiums?
Is this what you really meant?
