It has happened twice to me over the past month. I will be driving down the highway and the O/D light will start to flash. When I pull off the highway and start and stop the car (stop lights, intersections, etc.) the car shifts very hard. If I park and turn off the car for a few minutes then restart the light is off and car shifts fine. Any recomendations for troubleshooting? The car isn't turned off very long. About five minutes maybe? Outside temp was 35 degrees. Fluid level is fine and doesn't smell like it is burnt. I have changed to fluid once about 25,000 miles ago.
