I have a severe problem.. that needs be handled soon.. i got ford dickin me around.. my cat converter went out.. well they dont wanna cover it cause they say my intake voids my warrenty.. but im not about to spend 800 bucks for a new cat.. well i was just gonna gut my cat when i found out my studs and bolts are stripped so i cant get the stupid thing off...so i need help getting it off then when the welded my 2 1/4 exaust they cut off the flange conneceter after the flex pipe..so even if i can get it off i have to cut it to get the whole thing off.. so what i REALLY want to do.. is just cut my cat off after my manifold... and run a str8 downpip from that to my flex pipe..and run no cat.. at least until i get enough money to get a header..should be a couple months.. but the bottom line is i at least need help getting the cat off.. and new studs and bolts back in there.. and if you can weld and bend pipe i would rather do the other idea.. email me lilzetec@hotmail.com... I wish I could help you . I know this probably doesn't really help the matter, but I would take off the intake and put the stock back on and take it to another dealer.
