What do you need to eliminate wheel hop on an SVT?

I don't know if you will ever eliminate it, but good stiff motor mounts do wonders. A Quaife LSD would also help quite a bit, but the cost is out of many of our budgets. It's important to note that wheelhop will kill a stock differential. I know, I've done it.

I killed my diff and tranny with wheelhop. Don't do it ever if you can help it. I'd say your best bet is to launch at 2000 rmps.

a lighter foot on the gas pedal, or less grippy tires so that they spin rather than casue wheel hop.

I won't tell you you're wrong, but I have a Strut Tower Brace on my SVT and I still have a good amount of wheel hop.
I did buy the car with it installed though, so I cannot compare.

No, wheelhop comes from the engine/trans rocking back and forth. If you have a loose motor mount, you'll have a lot more wheelhop. I had some bolts loose on the motor mount, and it was hopping really bad.
