6x8 but 5x7 will fit.

Pioneer has 6x8 speakers that are a bolt in. Pioneer 5x7 will also fit, but they are smaller than the original speakers. Other 6x8 do not fit as well as the Pioneers. If you look for them you can even find plug in connectors so you don't have to cut the speaker wires.

I might get these: http://www.caraudioexpert.com/product_details.cfm?Product_ID=1808

Is that a decent replacement? The price is right. I have a 50x4 Pioneer head unit.

dittoooo, stock=5x7. some aftermarket 6x8s=5x7s, though i think pioneer 6x8 actually is 6x8. trust me when i say stock is 5x7, i compared my new speakers to stock and the new ones are bigger (and better ).

I had Pioneers in all 4 doors. They do the mids and highs well but I just don't think they pound out the bass as well as other 6x8s.

they're good enough for the price, and they were better than everything else i could get locally. anyways, i've got subs for bass. i'll eventually replace everything one day though.

They are 6x8's, I have all 4 doors filled with pioneer 3ways. Agreed on the bass thing though. But perfect if you are adding subwoofers to your system. They are 100 times clearer and cleaner than stock speakers.
