What special steps would need to be done when installing the Torsen? I doubt it would be a direct replacement.

You'll need to pull the transaxle out, then split the clutch housing from the other housing, lift the diff out, remove the final drive gear, get new speedo gear and carrier bearing, put it back together, set the preload, and use the correct shim. You sure you're up for it?

Thanks! Now, where do I get the shim and do you have a part number for the speedo gear and bearing?

F5RZ-17285-AA speedo gear- F7RZ-4221-AC diff bearings, you have to order 2 bearings and I don't know the number for the shim pack. It's around $100 and it's the only one available for the MTX-75, if you're a good enough explainer you should be able to walk the guy in parts through it enough for him to find the pack. Straight from the mouth of Terry Haines... 'get the ford service CD'. I got it and it will walk you through a complete mtx-75 rebuild.
