Man, that was GREAT! A rush for anyone who has ever road raced before. That track seems huge. Between the engine, tranny and the heel/toe downshifts it was musical! Nice vid.

Man, that Elise needed another gear bad! Didn't look like he was pushing it too hard at the begining. He started driving a bit harder at the end when the vette lost him on that long straight.

SWEET vid!!! That track has got to be like 20 miles long!
That Elise was totallly taking that vette in the turns, but the vette had it beat in a straight line to top-speed

Yeah, the Elise was taking the vette in the turns because the Elise had a better driver in it for sure. You could tell he knew the track like the back of his hand. The vette was by far the faster car. Right at the end when there was a long, long straightaway.....the vette just blistered him. The Elise driver had that look of....
Great Vid....Thanks!!

The Ring is ~13 miles long IIRC. Considering the 'Vette engine is over 3 times the size of the Elise, I think the Lotus did quite well.

that was great. I have been playing Grand Prix Legends for a long while now and I know exactly where they were on the track. They did a pretty good job rendering the track for the sim

no the elise is actually a 1.8L rover unit - and it is naturaly aspired and produces about 190 hp in racing guise- so considering the power bias- the exige kicked the vettes butt! (yes that is an Exige not an elise- although they are basically the same thing-)- btw if he had another gear he would have been past the vette long ago-
The "ring" has to be one of the longest and also intimidating race tracks in the world. Man whoever made this video I praise you forever!!!
I love the elise and if I could afford it I would have baught one!
BTW the Straight cuts whining was PURE HEAVEN!
