I have a 96 contour sport with 5 speed ABS package and everything, I payed 3000 for my car , it had about 90,000 miles. My car has no side skirts or spoiler(unfortunitly). But i've got a 96 sport 4 speed zetech. hope that helps you some ..

as far as i know, only way to get side skirts on a pre98 were to get a SE which comes with a v6. 98+ i'm unsure of.

Don't forget, spoilers and side skirts can be added later on if you find a car w/ everything else you need/want.

A tach can be added in 1-1.5 hrs of easy DOIY work by
swapping the instr. cluster ($35-70 for one at
www.car-parts.com).

The leather wrapped steering wheel is about the same: less
time to install, more difficult to find.

I don't like the leather shift knob, so I didn't install
that

V6=higher initial cost, higher insurance, higher gas cost, probably higher repair costs too. i'm not saying i don't want one with a V6 but i would really prefer a 4. i know i can get an SE sport, but that's not the point of this thread.

Set your sights on a four cylinder five speed. Check out all the possibilities and go with your best option. Adding any criteria would be asinine and limit your options FAR too much, MTX Zetecs are hard enough to come by. If you do not care if you get a pre-98 or a 98+ that will give you more options. I was looking for a 98+ and it was HARD in my area. I could not find one with power locks/windows and gave up the search.
