Your friend is dopey!
The wheels on the mustang are identical front to back AND they are the wrong wheels offset.
YOu can't put them on a Contour without them hanging out, ghetto-style, and eventually kiiling your wheel bearings.
Find a set of wheels MEANT for the Contour.....

How many lug nuts does your car have? How many does a Cobra have?

yes earlier mustangs had 4 lugs but the max their stock tire sizes were then were 15's I believe. The first SVT Cobra was in 93 and they are all 5 lug. I agree...go with the E1 wheels. Check the classifieds on this site and check out www.batinc.netMystang

the only 93 cobra that had 5 lugs was the VERY VERY limited R model(all were red with black 94 gt wheels with polished lips). All other 93 cobras had the same 4lug setup as the rest of the the fox body clan.

The wheels wont fit! The first SVT Cobra in 1993 did still have 4-lug although the 1993 Cobra R had 5-lug. The 1991-1993 did have the 16x7 4-lug Pony wheels. Just clearing a few things up.

There were cobra look-a-likes made in the contour size. I believe they were Superior Scoundrels. Brad Noone had them I think.
They stopped making them a few years ago, so they might be hard to find.
