I was able to find someone selling the Silverstar 9006 bulbs for C$40.50. That seems awfully high, but I don't really know how much they run in the states.
Any ideas as to whether or not these are decent prices for these bulbs?

That is 40 each? I bought mine for 19.99 each US and I am waiting for my $10 US rebate.

That is actually just about the same price. Exchange rate it like 1.52 Canadian to a 1.00 U.S. So $45.50, is like 20-25 bucks, so its close to U.S. exchange. In the states yes they are 20 apiece, but with a 10 dollar rebate a pair. -Matt

40.50 divided by 1.52 (you said is current exchange rate is around 26.00. which is still over priced. I bought my set (awaiting install) for 14.99 a pair

Yeah, I found mine for $25 a piece.
I made the mistake of getting the low beams. I had the high/high combo in standard halogen. When I bought my silverstars, I thought that I should go with the normal low bulb thinking that if I did the high/high combination I would get flashed by people. Well, I got used to having the extra 10 watts so now I feel blind. I'll have to go out and do the high/high combo again. At least my new Ram uses the low beam bulb as the fog light bulb.

can 9006 bulbs fit inside low beam spot? currently i got 9005's in there (had to file down a plastic notch), they really did make a difference from the stock ones - i just gotta level the headlights right now, they're too high as it is. well anyway, would they fit?
