Has anyone in the GTA picked up the Sylvania Silverstar headlamps? They look promising for brightness without the cheezy blue tint you get from 'cool blue' and similar bulbs.
I had hoped that Canadian Tire would be selling them... but so far, I haven't been able to find them.
If any of you have an idea of where I can pick them up, I'd be greatly appreciative!

You can buy them directly from Sylvania online. I don't know of any retailers selling them here.

Have you tried the Phillips - "Bluevision" bulbs at Wal-Mart yet? They have a nice sharp white light and they are only $10 a piece. I've had them for years now, and am really quite happy with their colour and the price.

you just have to call Osram/Sylvania Canada (look at the web site fot the number)
They will let you know where in GTA you could purchase it (probably on special order)

I called Sylvania US last year about this very issue. They informed me they were "in negotiations" with CTC to have them carry SilverStar's in Canada, so who knows what came of that. I simply drove over to Niagara Falls, NY and picked up the low-beam pair at AutoZone.
