I wouldn't jump to conclusions on the engine's output just yet. The car is still new and the engine may not be fully broken in. The same is true for the transmission, until the gears are broken in the frictin losses through the transmission will be higher.
Drive the car a few thousand miles and then dyno again, you may see slightly higher numbers.

Forgive me for being anal, but doesn't the 6s have sideskirts and the sporty body kit? The regular 6 doesnt have that, which is what you're car looks like.
i think that is extra, but it's missing the V6 badges on the sides.
oh wait. i already said that. DOH!

baco99 and rkneeshaw:
6i: is 4 cylinder
6s: is 6 cylinder
both cars offer the "sport" package consisting of: body kit, rims, illuminated guage cluster, spoiler etc... all asthetic mods.
and the early/first v6's did not have the badging. only way to tell between a 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder was to look inside at the heating/vent controls. the 6 cylinder has dial u turn left to right and the 4 cylinder has the conventional 1-2-3-4 blower speed and conventional temp control. both cars are offered in manual. both have dual exhaust etc. very minute diffrences to establish a 6 cylinder from a 4 cylinder

This may or may not mean much to the dude who owns the 6s (which BTW I think is a tight family hauler in it's own right) but Motor Trend mag just declared it a winner when set off against a new Altima 3.5 SE and Jetta GLI. Just thought I'd let you know that more than just one or two people think you made the right choice. The Altima did run a 5.95 to 60 though... That'd be a hard choice for me, if I could afford to make it!
