I'm looking at 2 possibilities for 2-LE12s. One is a bandpass box with .94 cu feet in each ported chamber and 1.84 cu feet shared in the sealed area. Like this: http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-i1rboGsHRAE/ProdView.asp?a=0&s=0&g=65700&id=detailed_info&i=04412BP4

Or I could get a ported box like this: http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-i1rboGsHRAE/ProdView.asp?a=0&s=0&g=842&id=detailed_info&i=044H1712DX
This one has 1.75 cu feet per woofer. Or do I need more space? I know that I don't understand boxes enough to make my own. Any help is greatly appreciated. Music tastes range all over from country to rap to acoustic guitar, but I love big bass.

Edit: I plan on running 450-600 watts RMS at 2 ohm.

A huge NO on the first enclosure. The second enclosure would be find, but you could get away with a smaller (and cheaper) one.

I would suggest a Subzone H-122 from www.mmxpress.com for $80 and running them sealed.

Thanks. For my own edification, what was wrong with the bandpass box? The fact that it was bandpass, the cu feet, or the woofer?

Bandpass boxes are tricky to build. The front and rear chambers must be precisely what the sub needs for it to sound good, so you really need to build a bandpass box yourself for good results. It would be a longshot for the sub to perform up to its capabilities in that pre-built box, and it could in the worse case sound like absolute garbage.
