I just saw that product at my local Walmart. I bought the B12 Chemtool carb cleaner since it listed xylene (which a few people have raved about) as one of the chemicals.
You might also want to use a brush with metallic bristles, such as a gun cleaning brush.
FYI: I cleaned mine, but it didn't help. It seems that mine was clogged up where I couldn't get to it (in the elbow area). When you take off the EGR, apply vacuum to it (around 10 in HG) in order to open up the diaphragm, and then (in a dark area) shine a flashlight in one end. If light doesn't come out the other end, then you will probably need to replace it.
Just wondering, why are you cleaning your EGR?
