I was just sittin in bed last night. I started thinkin about makin a nice custom fiberglass enclosure. Then all the sudden i thought why not make a fiberglass mold of my hood and add a scoop. I wuz thinkin I could take my stock hood off, cover it with some sort of fabric(doesn't realy matter) then i would make a hood scoop. Then I would just lay the fiberglass down, let it dry, remove it from the stock hood, and sand it prime it and paint it. Its kinda hard to put in words, but I think I can get it to work.

After you do it, make sure to include a How-To with a little more details. Cause it sounds TITS!!

I was accualy talking to someone last night about that. A wrx/mustang type hood scoop, I just dont see how that would help that much exept dump air over the intake manifold. Wich might cool it a tiny bit, but not enough to see on a dyno. I would think if you could somehow divert that air to the intake then you might see some gains. But i dont realy see enough room to do that. Now if your talking purely aestetics forget what i just said.

I think Im gonna do it in a month or so. It is some work, but what isn't. I wuz thinkin maybe runnin a hose from the scoop to the intake, and makin it where all the air the intake gets comes from outside. But I thought about rain or washin the car, would water effect it? thanks all.
