I recently have noticed what appears to be a noise/vibration from the front right tire. The noise generally occurs under torque, even under light acceleration. It's low frequency and somewhat inconsistent in character. Any ideas or recommendations for investigation? If it had to describe the noise, I call it a warble.

From the description and symptoms I would confirm the lug nuts are torqued and check the CV joints. Might want to pull the tire and inspect it and swap the front and rear tires to rule out a tire problem. Check the steering knuckles for any L to R play when you have the car jacked up.

Welcome onboard.
Front wheel bearings the most common source of noise.

A wheel bearing is usually worse when you steer one direction, and not as bad when you steer the opposite direction. Jack up the front of the car, and see if you have noticeable play in either front wheel.
The fact that it is worse under torque doesn't seem to match with wheel bearing problems, but I suppose it's possible. I've been trying to isolate a vibration that occurs under torque, and I still don't know what is causing it.
