I went to Tenvoorde Ford in St.Cloud when I was in between classes to get a front end alignment, and they said it wouldn't go on the rack because it was too low. I have never had this problem before, and I am not sure if it is accurate. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary with the suspension, as it is all stock. Has anyone else had this poblem?

That is crazy...I and, well, everyone else I know with a CSVT hasn't had any trouble getting their car aligned. Apparently they didn't want your money...I dunno though, I may be wrong.

I got my wheels aligned once hassle-free before I lowered it, then afterwards no one could do it except one place in town.

sears fit my car on their rack.. had 205/55/16 tires on though which i understand to be a bit taller than SVT stock tires.

Chuck, they are pulling your chain. They just didn't feel like pulling your car up on the rack. A stock SVT will go on the rack just fine. My car lowered with eibachs all the way around was a little more of a challenge for the guys around here. The first place said it wouldn't go, but then I ran into a friend who runs the alignment stuff for tires plus and all they have to do it put a couple blocks under the ramps so the front bumper doesn't scrape. My advice go to another dealer.

Yeah, that's retarded. Go back there and show 'em your FORD CONTOUR FACTORY fukin manual that shows how to put blocks under the ramps. Then tell them your taking your business to someone with an IQ bigger than their shoe size. Sorry to rant, but I HATE ford dealers.

Thanks guys, I thought something was wrong when I brought it in and they were all stressing out b/c of how low it was and muttering to each other about how they think that it was too low to go on the rack.

They had a Saleen right next to it and I thought if they can give a Saleen a tire rotation, they can give a SVT an alignment! I'll check down in the Twin Cities to see where else I can get it done.
