OP hussman_dup1 New CEG\'er H Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 27 Tempe, AZ	Hi, I've been having a problem on my 99 SVT. It seems to be shifting pretty stiffly, but not all of the time. 1st to 2nd seems to be the biggest problem as when I'm accelerating fastly and throw it from 1st to 2nd it doesn't want to get into the groove. So I end up missing the gear and the stick pops into neutral. Every once in a while it leads to a slight grind that I can feel through the stick when it does make it into gear, this also happens when shifting and driving slowly every once in a while. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All I got from the archives was the clutch bleeding and cocktail (which I haven't done) but I was wondering if there was anything else. Thanks in advance. But, I had the clutch replaced by for under warrrenty "dont ask" and they must have put the crap back in...

Mine did that (look for a post of mine, on the old boards, about my transmission).. My particular problem ended up being the shift-linkage had snapped.. (but the synchros were bad, too..) The slower I went, the easier to change gears.. and it was like no matter HOW much I was SURE it was in gear.. it would grind when I let out the clutch...
