What's up,
I'm John, a reclusive bastid. I've spoken up here a couple of times before but not recently. I have a black 2000 SVT and live in Lexington.
Just thought I'd let you know what I saw today, a siver SVT on Hanscom AFB. I went to speak to the guy driving it, and he tells me how it's his companies car. I don't think it was a huge company, and he may have been the owner. Anyways, he had never heard of CEG so I pointed him this way. Might be one of the silver SVTs people keep seeing. The company was All Season Vending I think. They had a DOD contract to put in vending machines on base or something.
Let me know when the next get together is. I'm definately down. Oh and if anyone wants to go work on thier car sometime soon let me know. I need to change oil and some other misc stuff. I can get us into the heated garage on base with lifts and all the goodies.

Welcome aboard. You should ask this guy if he needs more "Company SVT's" there are a few in the area for sale. Do you happen to have a huge wing hanging off the back of your car? I work in Billerica and might have waved to you a few times. Sounds like our next meet is at Hanscom AFB. Later

Garage  ... HEATED  I added coolant to the car today (turns out half my problems were caused to having nearly NONE in the car  ), boy was it cold out! Our garage shielded us from the wind at least.

Yeah maybe next weekend. There is a fee but it's so minimal. I changed my oil, put on new tires, ballanced them, and lubed my sway bar so to speak and it was like 10 bucks.
I have the stock spoiler, no big ass wing. I got texas plates. Say hey if you see me.
It is the air force base, so if you don't have some sort of military or dod id you'll have to meet me and or get a visitors pass. I don't think it's that hard to do.

Oh man, heated garage!! How long do you have access to the garage? I, like Kim have a lot of suspension goodies to throw in but I couldn't do it over the next few weekends.
Glad to have you aboard. My SVT was a company car in New Jersey. It was part of an executive lease program. A vice president of some company had it and took really good care of it too.

If your offer still stands closer to the spring, I'd love to be able to meet up then. Unfortunately it's tax season for me til April, so my free time on weekends is severely limited.

Yeah the offer stands. Maybe I'll meet some of you at the next get together. The garage is open all day. It's the auto hobby shop on base. Like I said there is a fee but it's minimal. You just need someone like me to get you on the base. I'm happy to help out though. I need to meet some new people and what not. Plus I love the opportunity to see work done on our cars. Build that encyclopedia of knowledge nawwww mean.
