just today, after i filled the car up as soon as i came to my fist full stop the car just freaked out and started to shake vilantly unless i gave it a considerable amount of gas, other wise it stalls, i was told that it could be the ias idle control sensor, what do you all think.

IAC - idle air control (valve)
Lots of posts on that issue.

The IAC valve or a vacuum leak in one of the hoses leading into the accordian tube are typical causes of idle problems. The IAC is about $70 so it's worth checking around a bit before replacing it.

I had the same problem, and did research on the board. The IAC was the culprit - I did buy a new one from Ford, its on the shelf. I unplugged the IAC and cleaned the contacts, put some dielectric grease on the contacts, re-plugeed it, and NO more problem (for now)...

Next day the same problem ONLY after car fully warmed up - replaced the IAC - still same problem. Car will bounce idle and stay at rpm that you were at when shifting (does not drop). Car runs fine until at 180 degrees... Any ideas?
