Hi i was driving my wife to the store when she got out i shut off my car.When i restarted it again only bass in the sub nothing else this sucks and i had to drive my dad 98 malibu Ls around today b/c no radio for me except bass.I was wondering if one of the wirer feel out but then the subs wont work eithere.The amp is on but none of the door speaker works.I would go out side and try to fix it but it like -145 here in Toronto lol.

Is it a five channel deal? It might be a problem with the RCAs, or something to do with the cold. It's -40C (-40F for you americans)here right now with the wind (-26C without) and I don't even turn the stereo on at these temperatures, I get horrible images in my head of the speakers cones just shattering. I watched my brother pull the handle on his contour right off a couple years ago when it was -50C for about three days straight. When he closed the door after getting inside he managed to crack the inside handle right off too...

Well first off i live in Toronto,Ontario but when you cant feel you toes after 30 sec that what it feels like(-145) .Its only like -43 with the wind but god dam its cold.I was up all night thinking what it could be so,i went in my car turning the system on and off nothing still.I then walked around the passenger side of the rear to take out my daughter child seat when i closed the door,wow music.So i was happy but the people next store was not,cd up full blast at 3:30 in the morning.So i then took off the door panel and to my surprize the neg wire was only on a bit,so i got out the black tape and taped it up.Now it works what a headack.

BTW windchill does not count for objects that don't sweat. i.e. inanimate objects.

Windchill can only be felt by animals as the lower temp you feel is beacuase the wind is causing moisture on your skin to evaporate, which takes energy (heat in this case) so you feel colder.


But in any case, I do not doubt that Saskachewhatsamacallit it's fuggen cold!
