well ive had my 95 contour gl for 2 months now and I've had some fun problems.
First off was my gas cable (from the gas pedal to the throttle) snapped for no apparent reason. Now it's ghetto rigged with some stuff my step dad got from a fishing shop. It took me like 20 seconds to reach 70 (lol). Anyways the ford place said the cable was $50 and they had to order it. What I've been told was the line got caught up on something when I was accelerating. IF this has happened to anyone tell me!
Now I have my timing belt clicking at me when i crank my car (I've searched for it but never found a definate answer.) I have like $100 right now (just got my first paycheck) and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and fix the clearance problem, the water pump or the belt itself? Any help would be great!
