My airbag light started blinking in a series of two blinks, a pause, then five more. Does this signify something. After car was shut off and restarted after fifteen minutes- no more blinking.

I believe that there is a recall for that. Have someone run your vin in Oasis. They will double check and see if you are eligable.

There is no 2-5 code.
An Airbag 5-2 code is:

Backup power supply - voltage boost fault

Pinpoint Test P: LFC/DTC 52 - Backup Power Supply - Voltage Boost Fault

Normal Operation

A backup power supply is contained within the air bag diagnostic monitor that consists of four capacitors and a voltage boost circuit. The voltage boost circuit charges the capacitors to 16 - 19 volts when the ignition switch is turned to ON. The backup power supply is connected through a diode to the air bag diagnostic monitor pin C20a - 15, circuit 29 - MA15 (OG). The resistance of circuit 29 - MA15 (OG) should have infinite (open) resistance to ground. The air bag diagnostic monitor measures the voltage on the backup power supply capacitors. If the voltage on the capacitors does not reach a minimum of 16 volts after approximately 45 seconds, the air bag diagnostic monitor will flash diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 52 to indicate low voltage in the backup power supply voltage boost circuit.

Possible Causes

Low backup power supply voltage can be caused by:

1. Resistance on circuit 29 - MA15 (OG) to ground. Resistance to ground on 29 - MA15 (OG) or circuit 7 - MA20 (YE/BK) will cause the backup power supply capacitors to discharge and the boost circuit will not be able to boost the voltage.

2. Boost circuit failure within the air bag diagnostic monitor. If the voltage boost circuit in the air bag diagnostic monitor is faulty it will not be able to raise the backup power supply voltage on the capacitor.
