Right now I have 4 Firestone Firehawk P205/60R15 90H

Sometimes when there are a lot of load in the back and I go over bumps it scratches violently against the fender. I hear it is from the back so what tire should I get? I know it has to be thinner.
Question is what because it is really hazardous to drive like this on the road. The rims are 15" I think .. American Racing brand. They do look extra wide.

Thanks again for such -=)

well WHEN I get money I'm getting some 205/50/16s and that should work just fine

having a lower profile tire will leave you with a big fender gap

but honestly I have no clue why your rear would sag so much cuz even 60s aren't that thick

the 15?? thats the size of your rim

from what i understand

205 would be how wide the wheel is, 50 would be the thickness of the wheel or sidewall, and 16 is the size of the rim

if the offset on your rims are not 40mm offset then it will throw off your speedo and miles and all that

I had rubbing where the fender meets the rear bumper - there's a "lip" that's about 2 1/2~3 inches long that was cutting into my tires over bumps and big dips, and heavy loads.

This is what I did:
- jack up car
- remove wheel
- remove fender liner
- detach bumper
- use Dremel to cut off "lip"
- clean
- touch up paint

No more rubbing. You can hammer the lip back, but I cut the fenders, just to be sure.

I also had some rubbing from the fender lip, so I also trimmed off the entire fender lip with a dremel using the same process above.

Good luck.

hmm sorry for being so questioning and stuff but my rims are 16" so I wonder why my current P205/60R/15 90H work?

Isn't 15 for 15" wheels? I am asking this because I want to buy P205/50/16 tomorrow.

Thanks once again
