I have another question for all the gurus out there. Hopefully I get one response unlike my last post. Could the sweaking whistling sound I am experiencing be caused by a loose heat shield on the exhaust system. I have heard that this is a problem on these cars. Does this sound feasible.
Thanks in advance.

A heat shield whistling. No. Rattling possibly, but highly unlikely since it's such soft material.

I have never heard this was a problem myself.

Open air filter can whistle. IAC can whistle.

Demon I have a 1998.5 svt so I should have the updated IAC valve right? I wasn't thinking that the heat shield was whistling but squeeking instead. Would the IAC valve whistle at the specific RPM range that I posted earlier. Thanks for you help.
