hey all, sorry to say but i got a new '03 maxima. my question is, it's ok to put zaino on it correct? i plan on doing it this weekend when i get it. tia.

Probably. When was your car produced?
I've been told 60-90 says before any wax on new paint.
Not sure about Zaino though.
Maybe some paint guys will chime in.

Maximas are built in Japan, right? If the car you are getting has been on the lot of any time, it has been at least 30 days since it has been painted which is plenty long enough. Today's high-temp baking mean the paint is pretty much set by the time it cools down. It doesn't "breathe" like older automotive paints. Anyway, go for it.

not for long....construction should be completely finished in about 4-6 months on the new lines here in smyrna, and then we get the maxima here too......i have seen a 04 prototypes running around here......they dont look to shabby!

You can use anything on new paint as long as it is not silicone based. IIRC. I don't think Zaino is silicone based. IIRC
