Hello everyone,

I have a 1997 Contour LX with a 2.5 Duratec engine. I am past the warrantee for the Catalytic converters so getting them replaced is not an option.

I have done a bunch of stuff with success but I still have a clog in the bank1 front pre-cat. I would like to remove this pre-cat and beat the guts out of it essentially making it like a pipe. before I put it back on. Emmissions is not a concern right now. Can anyone give a rough step to step guide on how to do this.
