Just last weekend I did an engine swap on my 95 Mystique. I put in a 96 zetec and everything bolted up great. The only problem i have had is that my overdrive is not working. Im thinking that there might be a plug not connected but im not too sure where to look for it. Any other advice would be of a great help. thanks

Not entirely sure why, but 1995 was ODB1 and 1996-on is ODB 2. Different Engine management systems entirely. OD on the ODB2 is handled by the engine computer. It may be that the 1995 computer doesn't work with the newer style (electronically at least) transmission.

I would have to second that. Might have to go to a bone yard and grab a '96 puter.
