I have already replaced the headlight switch in the dash. I didn't know about the recall and purchased one. Last night I did notice that the LR door courtesy light switch must not be working because the courtesy lights didn't come on when the door was opened. I will remove and clean it to see what affect it has on my problem. All three of the other doors seem fine. I have already cleaned the two front door switches.

Driver's door jamb switch the only one involved in warning chime circuit. Didn't venture out to car today, zero degrees, so I've no further ideas at the moment.

OK, I decided to go back over everything. The door switch was dirty but not corroded. Cleaned it up and now all four door switches work the courtesy lights.
I was mistaken about the license lamps. They DO NOT work. All others do. All functions of the intermittent wipers work. Still no chimes for key-in and headlights. Could this be my BTW module?
Thanks.

Suspect problem with the 3 R/BL wires that go from parking light contacts of headlight switch to 10 terminal connector at fuse panel and feed fuse 31, and a circuit in timer module.

Finally got time to check the wires. When the light switch is turned off the R/BL wires have no power. When the switch is turned on they have power to them. I also tried switching out a new fuse with the old one on 31. Still the same. I called the local dealer about a new Central Timer Unit and they will have to special order it. Should I go that route next?

Quick answer, no. Lights not involved with timer so let me refresh memory and re-read posts. I'll post tomorrow am at latest.
Edit:
Nothing new to add. Problem seems to be at fuse panel probably in feed side of fuse 31. Pulling fuse, headlight switch on park, you should measure volts on one of the fuse's terminal sockets. If no volts, previous sentence would be correct. There is no info on fuse panel internal wiring, although loose wire at connector to fuse panel would be more likely to be the problem.

Finally got some time to do some diagnostics. Well, I have power on the three wires coming down to the panel. I have connectivity from these pins through the panel. But I didn't have power coming out. It ended up being a loose connector on the wiring harness. I played with the connectors and now have light. What a wonderful sight. I also have the warning indicator for 'key in ignition switch' and 'lights on'.
Thanks for all of the advice. Couldn't have done it without you.
