Hello all, I recently had a CEL come on and after me having to explain the 8/80,000 emissions warranty to the dealer they repaired my Cat. Converters at no cost to me. Now this is where I have the problem. I got my car back and initially everything seemed fine, but I did notice a couple of problems later. First when I am making a right hand turn and giving it gas, it almost sounds as if part of the exhaust comes loose in the front of the car(it gets louder) this only happens on a right hand turn when I am giving it gas. Second, my steering wheel is not centered, after the dealer had my car. Could they have done something to my steering wheel while they were replacing my Cat. Converters? Also any ideas what the noise would be on the right hand turn. I have a 98 EO SVT. I am going to speak to the dealer today and I was hoping to get some info so he does not try to pull one over on me. Thanks in advance!

It sounds like the dealership may have dropped the engine cradle to work on the cats. This craddle has to be put back in a perfect alignment and the bolts tightened. My dealership put the cradle with finger tight bolts. The ride home was unbelievable with clanking and wild handling. I guess the "Miller Time" started at my dealership at 3 PM.
