true. all though i think to get it into america it has to have the bumpers,etc. work done, you can get by converting it back. what local cop is gonna know that you don't have on the right bumpers? would he even be able to catch you if he did notice?

i saw a guy on my block driving around in a porsche gt3 once, also not street legal in the US. When people get away with driving around with their mufflers chopped off, some can get away with driving dream machines as well.

it's funny how nearly every honda in town has their muffler chopped off, but my friend has a cut-out on his truck, and a cop told him to fix it. I guess if your car sounds like crap after cutting the muffler off you're left alone, but if it's loud and deep, then you're in trouble (the cop noticed the cut-out while the truck was not running, he has yet to paint it, and the chrome attracts attention).

i've seen one of those in person. turnermotorsports (bmw racer and tuner from boston) was at limerock park for this past memorial weekend. very nice looking.
