Hi,

Many of you have asked if SVT struts & springs will raise
the car.
I just noticed that a coworker has parked his Contour (also
a '97 GL) next to mines and quickly snapped some pics.

The grey one is mines (with SVT struts and springs) and
the blue one is completely unmodded.

There isn't much difference if any...

The parking lot has a definite incline towards the front of
the cars.

Sorry for the pic quality...

Tiv

I thought I recognized that skyline - lol. I'm in Nashville myself. Looks like your car is slightly lower than the other - looks good.

Yours is only slightly lower than your coworker's, but both cars appear to be lower than our own Contour. Is ours is on stilts or something?

Your car's official color is Champagne, by the way (more gold than grey).

You are not alone. Mine was almost that tall before I lowered it.

I would be curious to see front end comparisons. It would seem that is were the biggest area of concern would be.

you're right since that's where the weight difference is.

I couldn't take usable pics (Sun...), but as far as I could
see there is no noticeable difference.
One thing is true though, steering became much easier after
the swap.
