you guys happen to also how the size of the outlet from the engine? the place where the headers are connected to? I've seen some headers saying they have 1 5/8" runners... is that size a good one?

bit OT, anyone know any headers that are tried + true for our cars?

The Focus has lots of headers available.

The stock unit would not be so back if the catalytic converter was not integrated into it. Horrible.

i have no catalytic convertor on my car, off the stock manifold. do NOT gut the cat. it SUX when u do that, my "header" that i made out of the manifold works great, but it's being trashed for my FITTING JBA header.

Closest ones for us are the ones for the ZX2.

well heres what i was thinking, HP race headers. Since i have ambitions of passing smog as well as it not being nice for the environment i was gonna toss a high flow cat after the long headers. any options on that?

HP race headers

Since you're in California, you might have to find a smog station who'a willing to look the other way at the headers in the visual inspection and just go by the sniffer numbers.
