Could someone give me a really good picture or diagrahm of the plate that needs to be made. My buddy is going to make me one and he needs the dimensions. I wanted something a little more sturdy than just wood. So he is making it out of aluminum. So if someone could help me out I would appreciate it.

yeah that was me...those are my pics....i made the wood plate....but i have since switched the wood one for that plastic plate...the 3rd pic....that plate is under your shift tower...its what the bolts thread into....it falls out once you remove all the bolts.....really no need for another plate...that piece works great and is very sturdy...but if you'd like to use aluminum...just remove that plate from under your tower and make it that soame size...remember to get some longer bolts, and you can just use nuts in place of that plate...hope that helps...i just placed that plastic plate between the shifter base and the shift tower by the way...
