I went the custom route. 3" from the cat into the Y at the rear axle, 2.25" dual from there out (with mufflers in the back)...set me back about $225 or so. Good mellow sound, and a definite power increase along with a decent increase in highway mileage (no affect in the city).

I went with the Bassani in case anybody was wondering. It was a pretty good deal , and all stainless. Hopefully I will love it. I will post pics , and sound clips once I get it installed. Thanks for you help!! . any advice as too getting the stock exhaust off. Any help with that would be great!!!!! Thanks

Just wondering what you are doing with your stock exhaust. It would be a good upgrade for a non-SVT contour.

I agree, when I get the Bassani up , I will be selling my stock system. It should be posted in the classifieds late next week. Hopefully. Ill keep you posted . Peace
