My instrument cluster does not light up evenly at night. The speedo is noticably darker between 100-130 mph. I checked for burnt out bulbs, and all were intact. Any idea what might cause this problem?

Thanks

I had mine checked while they replaced my dash. All the bulbs where good, the tech. said it was a characteristic of the speedo. There must be some of the mechanicals of the speedo. blocking off the light. smile

Same problem here. Figured Ford just got cheap and didn't put another light down there.
