What is the part number for the fog light bulb in a 1995 contour. Mine either stopped working from the accident or, burn out. Can't figure it out. all i know is the bulp is broken.

bulb number is a 893 for the stock 37.5 bulb
I think the 885 is the same but 50 watts
just changed one of mine sat afternoon
wal-mart has them for about $7, before that I went to the parts store and it was $14

If you want my opinion buy a new set of lights altogether. There seems to be a lot of water seal problems. I have seen countless owners w/ this problem including myself and I am sure you know of the License plate light leak inside the trunk when raining. I was going to have the set replaced by Ford and they were going to charge me $150 to replace. Instead I bought a set of Rally's for $20 and installed them myself and I know they are warrantied and leakage.

You have water coming into your trunk from the Licence Plate light?
That could be my problem. What did you do to fix it?

I didnt do anything I am still living with it.
Maybe some sealant in the right place

You can get OEM replacements including new mounting hardware from BAT for $15.00 each. I just bought two new ones for my Tour. Go here and scroll down near the bottom.
